The Space Shuttle

The Space Shuttle was a reusable spacecraft developed by NASA, in operation from 1981 to 2011. It consisted of three main components: the orbiter, the solidrocket boosters, and the external fuel tank. This system allowed for astronauts and payloads to be launched into space and return to Earth for reuse. The Shuttle enabled many missions, including the construction of the International Space Station and the deployment of the Hubble Space Telescope.
